Kelab Golf Negara Subang, formerly known as Subang National Golf Club, was the brainchild of our first Prime Minister, YAM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Alhaj, through an act of Parliment in 1968. The golf club is just 10 minutes from Subang International Airport.
Subang’s biggest success was the staging of the Benson & Hedges Malaysian Open (in 1983 and in 1987), which is part of the Asia Circuit (professional golf) Tournament.
Facilities at Kelab Golf Negara Subang are virtually second to none, with tennis and squash courts, swimming pools, billiards and a jackpot-room, a sauna, a bar, restaurants, a lounge, a multi-purpose hall, a video library, pro-shop, a two-way driving range and putting greens.
